The International Cytokines & Interferon Society (ICIS) is on the lookout for outstanding individuals to fill six pivotal leadership roles. This is your chance to steer the course of our society and make a significant impact. If you are passionate about advancing the ICIS mission and are deeply involved in the Society’s initiatives, we urge you to step up and nominate yourself or a deserving colleague for Secretary, Council, Junior Council or Nominations Committee.

Don’t miss this opportunity to shape the future of ICIS! Submit your nominations by April 5 and be a part of our transformative journey.

Six Opportunities to Shape Our Future

This year, six (6) pivotal positions are available, each offering a unique opportunity to shape the trajectory of our society:

  • Secretary (an Officer of the Corporation) (two-year term beginning October 2024)
  • Two (2) Council Members (three-year terms beginning January 2025)
  • One (1) Council Member for Inclusion and Training, a.k.a. junior Councilor (two-year term beginning January 2025)
  • Two (2) Nominations Committee Members (three-year terms beginning January 2025)

The Ideal Candidate

We are in search of individuals who not only harbor a deep passion for the ICIS mission but are also actively engaged in the Society’s endeavors. The ideal candidate is well-connected within the global community of cytokine and interferon research, demonstrating a commitment to advancing our collective knowledge in these vital fields. Successful volunteer leaders, in addition to their professional accomplishments, exhibit a genuine openness to listen and learn from others.
