The Cytokine Society Nominating Committee is looking for engaged members ready to step into leadership. We’re accepting nominations for the following positions:
- Secretary — Officer of the Corporation; two-year term beginning October 2026
- Two (2) Council Members — three-year terms beginning January 2027
- One (1) Council Member for Inclusion and Training — two-year term beginning January 2027
- Four (4) Nominating Committee Members — three-year terms beginning January 2027
These roles are a meaningful way to contribute to our community and influence the direction of the Society. Review the job descriptions for Council Members and Nominating Committee Member to learn more about responsibilities and qualifications.

Nominations close Thursday, April 30, 2026.
Nominees must be Cytokine Society members in good standing with at least three years of relevant scientific activity in the field. We encourage you to nominate colleagues — or yourself. Use the Member Directory to find contact information and confirm membership status.
After the nomination period closes, the Nominating Committee will verify nominees’ willingness to serve and confirm their scientific background and alignment with the Society’s goals. An electronic ballot will then be distributed to the full membership. Candidates receiving the most votes will be elected, with the requirement that at least three countries are represented in the elected Council.
