- Empowering the Next Generation
Over 40 travel awards were granted to students, postdocs, and members, enabling their attendance at Cytokines & KAI 2024 in Seoul, Korea. - Recognizing Excellence
Twenty researchers at all career stages were honored for their outstanding contributions to cytokine and interferon science. - Fostering Global Collaboration
Our successful partnership with the Korean Association of Immunology brought together 2,000 attendees from 36 countries for an inspiring annual conference featuring Nobel Laureate Dr. Drew Weissman.
Staying Connected
The annual ICIS business meeting was held on Thursday, November 21, 2024, via Zoom. Members from around the world joined us live to hear updates, share feedback, and connect with fellow members. As we prepare for 2025, we’re excited to introduce the Joan Oefner Travel Award, a new initiative named in honor of our retiring Managing Director. Joan’s dedication has fueled ICIS’s growth, and this award will continue her legacy by supporting future leaders in our field. We invite you to join us in seeding this effort by contributing to the ICIS Travel Awards Fund.
