I am a researcher in the Immunology field, specifically innate immunity and cytokines. Also, an Associate Editor for scientific journals. My research has led to significant achievements, such as identifying the role of PD-1 in monocytes, defining the reference range for IL-6 in human blood, uncovering a receptor for the cytokines midkine and pleiotrophin, and discovering the production of midkine and pleiotrophin by some human innate immune cells.
