I like to think of myself as bivalent – kind of like the COVID vaccine. A big chunk of my lab’s work focuses on the regulation of IL-9 and the functions of IL-9 in the context of autoimmune and autoinflammatory (rheumatic) diseases. But I also have a growing program studying the genetic architecture of autoimmune and autoinflammatory conditions, based on rare/monogenic variants.
