Dr. Belkaid is the recipient of the 2023 AAI Excellence in Mentoring Award in recognition of her dedication to the profession through outstanding mentoring of more than 70 doctoral and postdoctoral trainees. She will be honored at the upcoming AAI annual meeting, IMMUNOLOGY2023™, to be held May 11–15 in Washington, DC.
On March 29, 2023, Professor Yasmine Belkaid was appointed President of the Institut Pasteur by its Board of Governors for a six-year term. She will take office in January 2024.
