Karen Mossman, PhD, McMaster University, Canada
Professor Mossman has been selected as the recipient of the 2024 ICIS Honorary Lifetime Membership Award in recognition for her scientific accomplishments that center around basic virology, interferon responses and how to exploit this fundamental knowledge for clinical benefit as well as her long time commitment to the scientific community and members of the ICIS.
Dr. Mossman will receive her award at the Opening Session at Cytokines 2024 / KAI 2024 in Seoul on Sunday, October 20th which starts at 1PM (earlier than usual). She is also an invited speaker in Symposium 10 Infection and Immunity on Monday, October 21st and will speak on: Differential innate antiviral signaling in human and bat cellsÂ
